About
Hi, I'm Loree Pham.
I'm an occupational therapist, researcher, educator, lifestyle medicine professional, and yoga teacher. More importantly, I'm someone who has always been curious about what helps people build healthier, more meaningful lives.
Being born with a cleft lip and palate and living with hearing loss meant I experienced healthcare from the patient's side long before I became a clinician. Those experiences taught me that every person brings their own story, strengths, and challenges, and that truly meaningful care begins by listening.
As I grew older, I also found myself questioning many of the assumptions I had accepted about identity, relationships, success, and what a meaningful life was "supposed" to look like. That journey taught me there is rarely one right way to live. Instead, I came to believe that health should help people become more fully themselves rather than fitting into someone else's idea of who they should be.
Professionally, I've dedicated my career to understanding how everyday life shapes health and well-being. As a licensed occupational therapist and researcher, my work explores how our routines, environments, relationships, and daily activities influence the way we move, function, and participate in the lives we want to live.
A Different Way To Think About Health
I've always been fascinated by the assumptions we make about everyday life.
Why do we assume chairs are the default way to sit? Why do we arrange our homes the way we do? Why do we define success by certain careers, relationships, or milestones? And perhaps the biggest question of all:
How many of the choices we make are truly our own?
Those questions eventually led me to spend years studying something most people never think twice about: the simple act of sitting.
It might seem like an oddly specific research topic, but it revealed something much bigger. It revealed how profoundly our environments and daily routines shape the way we move, feel, connect, and participate in the world. It also made me realize that many of the "defaults" we accept (how a home should look, how we should work, or how we should live and love) are often shaped by culture and experience rather than by what truly serves us.
Think about moving into an empty apartment. Most of us instinctively picture filling it with a couch, dining table, chairs, and a bed because that's simply what homes are supposed to look like. But what if your home was designed around how you actually wanted to live? What if the default wasn't necessarily the best fit?
That realization changed the way I think about health.
I believe health is about more than preventing disease or managing symptoms. It's about creating a life that reflects who you are, what you value, and how you want to live.
Many of us move through life following expectations we never consciously chose. We choose careers, build relationships, arrange our homes, and establish routines without always stopping to ask whether they truly reflect who we are and what we value. Those defaults can be helpful, but they aren't one-size-fits-all. Sometimes the healthiest life isn't the conventional one, rather, it's the one that genuinely fits the person living it.
This belief shapes every service I offer.
Whether I'm working with someone recovering from an injury, navigating a major life transition, developing healthier routines, or asking, "What kind of life do I actually want to create?", my role is not to prescribe a single "right" way to live.
Instead, I help people slow down, ask thoughtful questions, explore possibilities, and intentionally build daily lives that align with what matters most to them.
Rather than offering quick fixes, I believe lasting change comes from understanding yourself, experimenting with new ways of living, and making small, sustainable changes that fit your life.
My hope is that our work together helps you question assumptions with curiosity, make more intentional choices, and create a life that feels genuinely your own.
I don't believe the healthiest life is the one that looks the most successful. I believe it's the one that feels most true to you.
